Elaine Dyer Sparks Miscar

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the age of 70. She was born in Wales, England, and graduated from Istrouma High in 1962. She was a floral designer at Jefferson Florist and Deputy Clerk of Court for the City of Baton Rouge at the Coursey Office for over 20 years. She was the most loving and giving person who always put others before herself. The most important thing in her life was her grandchildren and her two puppies, Lacee and Bella. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Miscar; mother, Jane Sparks; children, Denise Dyer Roddy and fiance, Jimmy Nowlin, Bryant Dyer and wife, Rhonda, Jennifer Dyer Mac Nealy and husband, Zachary, and Elizabeth Miscar Powell and husband, Ricky; grandchildren, Cody, Cassidy, and Christina Roddy, Ashlyn and Mallory Dyer, Bri’ana and Brayden Powell, and Bryce and Dawson Mac Nealy; sister, Linda Lang and husband, Dewayne; and brothers, Rudy Sparks and wife, Diane, and Ricky Sparks and wife, Renee’. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Charles Sparks; and former husband, Lonnie B. Dyer. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, from 9 AM until funeral service at 2 PM conducted by Chaplain Lt. Col. Paul C. Stewart, USAF, and Rev. Huey Moak. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pall bearers will be Zachary Mac Nealy, Cody Roddy, Bryant Dyer, Rudy Sparks, Ricky Sparks, Jimmy Nowlin, Wayne Sullivan, Ricky Powell, and Dewayne Lang. Honorary pall bearers will be Cassidy and Christina Roddy, Ashlyn and Mallory Dyer, Bri’ana and Brayden Powell, Bryce and Dawson Mac Nealy, and her girls at work. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
