

She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved “LeeLee,” sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Her days were filled with her faith in Christ, love for her family and friends, dedication to work, endless crafting, and an obsession for the music of Jimmy Buffett, reflecting her playful and adventurous spirit. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, contagious laugh, big personality, adventurous heart, and remarkable ability to connect with everyone. The God given peace in her soul and her never-ending efforts to overcome the emotional and physical challenges of the last year were an inspiration to all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Haslitt; her children, Matthew Haslitt (Juliana Haslitt), Elizabeth Noelle Haslitt (Trey McDougle), and Lainey Haslitt; her adored grandchild, Major Haslitt; her sister, Stephanie Caillouet; her uncle and aunt Richie & Susan Kuhlmann, and her loving in-laws, Jim and Judy Haslitt.
She was preceded in death by her father, R. Hugh Bullard, and her mother, Elizabeth “Beth” McKenzie.
Her love, laughter, strength, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, in her memory.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, October 3rd, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM and again on Saturday morning from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
