
Erma J. Watson, 80, a native of Sample, Texas, and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011. She had a love for the state of Texas and was an avid LSU fan. She retired from Coca-Cola of Baton Rouge and was a charter member of Jefferson United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert William Watson; two sons, Mike Watson and wife Becky, and Brian "Larry" Watson and wife Edna; two brothers, Charlie Brice Streety and wife Mary Ann, of Seguin, Texas, and Richard Lee Streety and wife Dorothy Ann, of Marble Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, Karen Tiffany Soileau and husband Chris, Michelle Lynn Birke and husband Adam, Leslee Erin Roberts and husband Layne, and Deanna Joell Stanga and husband Josh; and seven great-grandchildren, Chelsea Soileau, Ashley Soileau, Robby Birke, Ryan Birke, Mallory Roberts, Hunter Roberts and Lucas Roberts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brice Reagan and Hilma Alice Streety. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Saturday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Graveside service in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Adam Birke, Chris Soileau, Layne Roberts and Josh Stanga. Honorary pallbearer is Harold Hill.
