Eugiené Marie Perry-Perkins

Our hearts are dismayed at the loss of our vivacious Eugiene "Gina" Marie Perry-Perkins. Gina was the first of five children born to the union of Bernard J. Perry, Sr. (Charenton) and Margaret L. Austin Perry (Verdunville) on June 22, 1972, in Lafayette, Louisiana. On February 14, 2003, Gina married Damon D. Perkins of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who she leaves behind, with their son Quittarrius McCray of Missouri. Gina personified love, and at four foot ten inches tall, she stood her ground. As a Delta Airlines Reservation Agent for fifteen years in Atlanta, Georgia, she maintained global friendships. We prayed with and for Gina, that she would return to us healthy. To our bewilderment, we had to leave her at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 6, 2021. Gina's mother, father-in-law (Roger "Tuddy" Perkins, Sr.), brother-in-law (Roger "Stankpot" Perkins, Jr.), stepbrother (Brandon Jones), and countless loved ones preceded her in death. With heavy hearts we announce Gina's memorial services at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, September 25, 2021. Masks Are Required! The memorial service program is as follows: family viewing from 9:00am-10:00am; public walk-through viewing from 10:00am-11:00am; and memorial services from 11:00am-12:00pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Live streaming of these services will be made available.
