
"Queen Elizabeth" was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Barrington, N.J. She was a beautiful, humble soul, a prayer warrior and a "Sweet Pea" to all who knew her. She was called to the gentle arms of the God she served for more than 60 years on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. She was a resident of Denham Springs and a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs. Preceded in death by her father and mother, Irl Walker and Edna Mae Ammulung Walker, who were of New York City; and her husband, the Rev. Ivy W Terrell. She is survived by two sons and spouses, Robert and Mary Terrell, Amite, and David and Jody Terrell, Denham Springs; two daughters and spouses, Florence and Wayne Oliver, Richmond, Va., and Ivy and Bill Sistrunk, Lafayette; two daughters, Nancy and Tookie Terrell, Denham Springs; an honorary daughter, Brenda Hyde, Gonzales; grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Oliver; four granddaughters, Debra Lawson, Rochelle Dressel, Nicole Williams and Reigni Terrell; two great-grandsons, Jonathan and Jackson Oliver; four great-granddaughters, Makayla and Micah Lawson, Alexia Louviere and Rebekah Oliver; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visiting at First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs on Sunday, Jan. 30, was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the church on Monday, Jan. 31, from 11 a.m. until funeral services at noon, conducted by the Rev.
