Frances Lindsey Cherry passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the age of 82. She was a native of Longview, TX, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She loved fishing, artistic painting, and arranging flowers. Frances is survived by her daughter, Claudette Cherry; siblings, Vernell Boyd and Kenneth ”Kenny” Lindsey (Dale); brothers-in-law, Ernest Cherry and Michael Cherry (Marla); sister-in-law, Shelia Ener; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, William Cherry; and parents, Claude and Elberta Lindsey. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
