Frances Werchan, native of Fordoche, LA and resident of New Roads, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the age of 93. She is survived by her son, James Werchan and wife, Pat; daughter, Wanda Pendarvis and husband, Mike; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Werchan; son, Charles Werchan; granddaughter, Frances Dedon; her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 10:00AM until time of funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pall bearers will be James Werchan II, Joe Sonnier, Bill Sonnier, Steven Werchan, Tanner Amond and James Montelaro.
