
Frank Alvin Fox, 82 of Baton Rouge, LA., died May 31, 2015, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was born July 11, 1932, in Chaonia, MO. A resident of Baton Rouge, Frank was a Navy Veteran serving as a diver on the U.S.S Florikan. After his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1955 Frank worked for the LAPD until his retirement as a Captain in 1978. Frank was a graduate of Los Angeles State College where he received a Bachelors degree and later received his Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California. After his retirement from the LAPD, Frank and Helen moved to Baton Rouge where he worked for the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney's office and taught criminal justice at LSU. Frank is survived by his loving wife Helen Fox, 2 daughters Jacqueline Sierad and husband Jack of Woodland Hills, CA and Victoria Schmidt and husband Owen of, San Pedro, CA, 2 grandchildren, Jocelyn Sierad Maynes and husband Duston, Jerett Sierad; one brother Joe Fox and his wife, Lorene of Patterson, MO; two sisters, Mary Aubuchon of Wentzville, MO., and Berniece Killion of Patterson, MO.; one sister in law, Doris Fox; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Zeba Fox, his father, Tom Fox; 4 brothers, Tom, Fred, Claude and Burt Fox; and 3 sisters, Oma, Dorothy and Tempie. Visitation at Rabenhorst Downtown on Saturday, June 6, 2015, from 10 am until Noon, followed by his funeral in the chapel, conducted by Fr. Tom Duhe'. Burial at Sea conducted by the U.S. Navy, Norfolk, VA. Honorary pallbearers Joe Fox, Bijan Ahrabli, Mike Bannister, Kyle Beck, Jack Sierad, Owen Schmidt.
