Gary Wayne Woodward, 58, passed away at his home in Denham Springs on Friday, April 18th. Gary was a native of Baton Rouge and a long-time resident of Denham Springs. He was a sweet, caring person and will be missed by his four brothers and two sisters. He was survived by Linda Woodward Hill and Husband Gene, Kenny and wife Terry, Darryl, Roger and wife Diane, Gerald and Deborah Woodward Marland and Husband Mike and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was a hardworking bricklayer and worked for Steve Hebert Masonary for 30 years. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, father James D. Woodward and mother Estelle Chisholm Woodward, loving Aunt Ruby Tullier-Torres and Maw-Maw Ethel Day Leblanc. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm and will continue on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 11am until funeral services in the chapel at 1pm officiated by Rev. Ron Turner. Gary was loved by everyone that came into contact with him due to his gentle nature.
