Gasper Joseph LeMoine, Jr., resident of Denham Springs, gained his angel wings on April 29, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 86. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 406 and a member of Immaculate Conception Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ethel P. LeMoine; son, James R. LeMoine, and daughter, Carolyn L. Gleason and husband Ray; sisters, Marie Schittone and Ethel Jarreau; three grandchildren, London Welch, Brandon Welch, and James LeMoine, Jr. six great-grandchildren Kaelynn Welch, Layton Welch, Bryce Welch, Berkley LeMoine, Landon Boring, and Chance Boring, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gasper J. and Noelie LeMoine, Sr.; brothers, Tony and Lawrence LeMoine, and sisters, Viola St. Roman-LeBlanc and Della Plaisance-Williams. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10:30am until funeral service at 12:30pm. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Brandon Welch, James R. LeMoine, Jr., Kenny Oubre, Bryan Kimble, Chance Boring, and Paul Gleason.
