Gene N. Scott

Gene Nolan Scott, native of Sunshine, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, left this earth on November 26, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Gene honorably served in the United States Armed Forces and was an owner and operator at Gene Scott Air Conditioning and Heating Company for 50 years. He enjoyed playing music and fishing with his family. Gene is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Grace Scott; sons, Brian Scott, Brent Scott, and Gene B. Scott (Daryn); grandchildren, Madison Scott and Dylan Rauh; sister, Norma Buxton; brother, Ken Scott; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mathilde Scott; Infant son, Gene; siblings, Evelyn Moran, Joseph Scott, Rosemary Guidry, Jerry Scott, Gracie Haggard, and Sharon Peck. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East from 3 to 7 pm. It will continue Saturday, December 3 at 10 am until service at 11. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial.
