

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved the Lord died at The Carpenter House on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. She was 93, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Carriere, MS. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 11 am until religious services in the chapel at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Barberelis Middleton and Janet and Charles McKnight; son, Dan Williams; brother, Dr. Eugene Watkins; nine grandchildren, Susan DeGeneres, Ronnie Middleton, Andrew Middleton and wife Jennifer, Windy Alessi, Matthew McKnight, Blake Williams and wife Anjé, Ryan Williams, Todd Williams and Tess Cardone and husband Pablo; seven great-grandchildren, Zachary Hebert, Julia DeGeneres, Olivia Middleton, Andrew Alessi, Annmarie Alessi, Preston Alessi and Milo Cardone. She was preceded in death by her husbands Andrew James Barberelis and Howard Daniel Williams; parents, Lonnie and Fannie Watkins; a sister, Mae Schroeder and six brothers, Andrew, James, Clarence, Hascal, Claude and Fred Watkins. Pallbearers will be Blake and Todd Williams, Zachary Hebert, Andrew Alessi, Jr, Andrew Middleton and Pablo Cardone. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Middleton, Matthew McKnight, Charles McKnight and Jack Manno. She was a member of Jefferson Baptist Church and the Porcelain Arts Guild.
