Hampton Pearce

Mr. Hampton “Jack” Pearce Jr., a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away November 18, 2023 at the age of 86. Mr. Jack was born on September 7, 1937 in Mansfield, LA. He is a graduate from LSU with a music education major and played in the LSU marching band; and after 30 years of service, he retired from IBM. He loved the LSU Athletics and most of all watching his children and grandchildren play ball.

He is survived by his children, Mike Pearce (Nicole), Jacquie Carter (Richard), Janet Hudson (John), and Amy Pearce (Scott); grandchildren, Kaleigh Carter, Shane Carter, Troy Carter, Grant Carter, Mahren and Jessica Hudson, Savannah Biggs, Zac Pearce, Max Pearce, Ainsley Pearce and Trace Pearce; great- grandchildren, Kai Pearce, Britton Carter and Kennedy Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death his wife of 45 years, Bitsy Pearce and his brother Bob Pearce.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude in Mr. Jack’s name.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 12:00pm until funeral service time of 2:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
