Heidi Ruppeiner Hurlemann, native of Switzerland and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 5, 2014 at the age of 86 after a brief illness. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who is survived by her husband of 27 years, Walter Hurlemann; sister, Trudy Mikkelsen; daughters Marianne Hembree and husband Dwight, Susanne LeBourgeois and husband Norman; sons Dr. George Ruppeiner and wife Dr. Malena Carrasco, and Daniel Ruppeiner; grandchildren Michael LeBourgeois and fiancé K LeFeaux, Daniel Hembree and wife Beth, Philip Hembree and wife Melissa, Rachel Bush and husband Gordie, Henry Ruppeiner, Thomas Ruppeiner, and Benjamin Ruppeiner; and great grandchildren Asher and Eli Hembree. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 9AM until funeral service at 10AM.
