"Formerly of Baton Rouge, Helen M. Labarre passed away at her home in Lake Charles on Saturday, November 24, 2018. She was born in Burlington, Iowa on April 16, 1923 to William E. and Cynthia M. McDonald. Helen is survived by her 3 daughters: Anita Ardoin (Darrell Ardoin), Beverly Bass (Bob Bass), and Carol Labarre Reeves. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Betty Lynch and Catherine Polson; 8 grandchildren: Jeff Guillory, Michelle Guillory, Staci Reeves Thibodeaux, Kelli Mason Broussard, Shannon Reeves, Kim Mason Feidler, Alicia Ardoin Beaver, and Stephanie Reeves; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adolph "Abe" Labarre; sister, Laura Heston; and brothers: Sonny McDonald, Donald McDonald, and Paul McDonald. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, from 11am until service at 2pm. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Spencer Moak, C.J. Thibodeaux, Cannon Beaver, Breck Beaver, Aiden Feidler, and Bruce Broussard. Gavin Beaver will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
