
A resident of Baton Rougeand a native of New Orleans, she died at 7:05 a.m.on Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, at home with her family by her side. She was 92. A private graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Tee Gatewood of First Presbyterian Church followed by a celebration of her life at the home of her daughter, Helaine Moyse of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her daughter, Helaine Moyse of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Paul Crespo and his wife, Marie, of Baton Rouge, and Clare Chinlund and her husband, James, of Los Angeles; two great-grandchildren, Ruby Chinlund and Sophie Crespo; and two nephews, Lawrence C. Guice and his wife, Linda, and Dr. Stephen Lee Guice and his wife, Joycelyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Richard Tuite, DDS; a daughter, Terry Tuite Roach; and her parents, Charles and Carrie Deckbar Kuhn. The family wishes to extend special thanks for the loving care given by Carolyn Wright, Pam Arceneaux, Brenda Demoulin and Cynthia Holmes. She enjoyed a full life and her associations with the Women's Dental Auxiliary, Y.W.C.O. board, Foundation for Historical Louisiana, Louisiana Arts andSciencesCenter, Volunteers of America patroness, Baton Rouge Republican Goals Congress, Louisiana Capital Area Health Planning Council, The Woman's Club, The Zipper Club, Baton Rouge Country Club and her volunteer work with many political campaigns. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., is in charge of arrangements.
