"He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, died the night of March 1, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home at age 82. He was a graduate of University of Southwestern Louisiana with a BS in Business Administration and the LSU Law Enforcement Institute. He retired from the EBR District Attorney's Office. He is survived by his wife, Janis Ward Denham; three children, Sharon Triche and husband Owen, David Denham and wife Leslie, and Sandra Triche and husband Michael and six grandchildren, Elizabeth Lowery, Andrew Lowery, Katie Denham, Hayden Denham, Spencer Stevens and Parker Stevens. At his request, his body will be donated to L.S.U. School of Medicine in New Orleans. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Heritage Manor Nursing Home for the care they provided. Memorial donations may be made to Iris Domestic Violence Center, P.O.
