James Vernon Andre “Hobo” , native of Plaquemine and resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Andre; daughter, Diane Andre; brothers, John Andre and wife Genevieve and Joseph Henry Andre. He is preceded in death by his son, James D. Andre; parents, Joseph and Nora Andre; sisters, Evelyn Herbert and Jeanette Davis; and sister-in-law, Aline Andre. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, January 25, 2016 beginning at 10am until funeral service at 12pm. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
