James Carroll "Monk" Williams, born March 25, 1951, died March 6, 2015. Mr. Williams attended Istrouma Junior High and High Schools and graduated from Zachary High School. Jes was baptized at age 9 at Istrouma Baptist Church and attended Zachary Baptist Church. Retired from Georgia Pacific with 25 years of service as an electrician. Survived by wife Charlotte Scully Williams, daughter Jamie Williams Rosado and husband Jon; stepchildren, Jessica Penton and partner Jeff Jenkins, Jeremy Penton and wife Tiffany Polozola Penton; grandchildren, Emily Claire Rosado, Julia Grace Rosado, Grant Lewis Penton, Beau Daniel Penton; mother and stepfather, Doris and L.T. Robinson; one sister Rita Bennett and husband Ronnie; sister and brother's in law, Cheryl S. and Ronnie McCain, Stephen and Siobhan Scully, Jan S. and John Glynn McCrory, John Scully, Mark Scully, Trica S. Flaherty and Susan Scully. Also survived by numerous and neices and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Gwynn Aubry(G.A.) Williams and his in laws John and Janet Scully. Visitation and a service will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Monday March 9, 2015, 5:00pm-9:00pm.
