James W."Jimmy"Langlois

LANGLOIS, JR., JAMES "JIMMY" W.A native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Rosedale, Jimmy passed away after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his residence at the age of 60. He was a graduate of Tara High School. Jimmy was able to fulfill his dream of traveling and seeing the country through his career as a cross country tractor trailer driver. He continued in his field as an instructor for Diesel Driving Academy. Jimmy was a people person who never met a stranger. Once befriended, you were in his heart forever. He loved being with his family and his many beloved pets. He was an avid fisherman and loved playing golf. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Jeanie Bossier Langlois; his mother, Florence B. Langlois; three daughters, Heather Bossier, Jessica Bourgoyne and husband Mark, Courtney Bourgoyne and husband Brett; two sisters, Kathy Penn and husband Danny, Sonya Prejean and husband Mike; three brothers, Larry Langlois and wife Jeannie, Mel Langlois and wife Cindi and Ted Langlois. He is also survived by seven grandchildren that he adored as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James W. Langlois, Sr. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Church of Nativity, 15615 Laurel Street, Rosedale, LA 70772 with the Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.
