Janice lived as a woman of God and committed to a life of service to others. A devoted wife, loving mother, compassionate nurse, and active parishioner at St. George Church. She poured her heart and soul into everything that she did. To know her, is to love her.
Janice is survived by her loving husband, Dr. William Dimattia, son Jeffrey and his wife Janelle, daughter Gina Sommers, grandchildren Jacob, Lily and Éowyn Dimattia, Jacob and Brennan Sommers. Janice was preceded in death by her son Christopher John Dimattia, brother Daniel, sister Rita Ann Pillsbury, nephew Daniel Grant, and parents Jacob and Ann Wichner.
Visitation will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Dr., Baton Rouge, LA., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 1:00 pm until Mass time of 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at St. George Catholic Church Cemetery.
