As a kid visiting family in Baton Rouge, my family and his would get together. I always looked up to Jason, and remember the feeling of lightheartedness that surrounded him.

Years later, when I was in college at the University of Florida, Jason gave me a call saying he and a friend were coming through Gainesville for a football game, and asked if they could stay with me. Jason brought, along with a substantial amount of beer, laughter and a sense of mirth to the apartment. I smile when I think of him.

Jason, you left the world too soon, and your unsuppressable spirit will be missed.

It's impossible to share just one of my favorite memories I have with Jason. Countless shenanigans at BRLT (we met during My Fair Lady '96), the near misdemeanors done at the Partylon's, going to an Aerosmith concert in Biloxi, the Krewe of Partylon Mardi Gras Parades (1998, 1999, 2000), "rocking out" in his room - him crushing the drums and me thrashing the guitar, went to Disney together in '99 for Gus' bday trip.
Jason was my brother, and my best friend during my time in Baton Rouge. Although we drifted apart after I moved away - he was never far from my thoughts and heart.
Jason - I love you - I am thankful to have you watching over me.
Mary, Val, & Crystal - you also have ferocious guardian in Jason and Buford watching over all of you.
I love you all.
