A teacher and homemaker, she passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2007. She was 54, grew up in Macon, Ga., and was a resident of Baton Rouge for the past 27 years. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Thursday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, 930 North Blvd., on Friday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held privately. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dr. Phillip J. Brantley; son, Phillip Thomas Brantley; and brothers, Martin, Matthew and Joseph Gazafy.
