Jeanette Andre Brown, a native and resident of Maringouin, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was actively involved with the family farm. Visiting at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 11140 La. 77, Maringouin, on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Entombment in the church cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Brown Martin, Maringouin; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry E. Brown Sr., Baton Rouge, and Franklin P. Brown Jr. and Mary Canella Brown, Maringouin; sister, Lorena A. Henson and Sam, New Roads; brother and sister-in-law, Eugene Andre Sr. and wife Margie, Livonia; grandchildren, Lori Brown LeBlanc and husband Edmund, Larry E. Brown Jr. and wife Laurie, Amie Buriege and husband David, Shaun M. Brown, Jenny L. Martin, Ashley N. Zimmerman and husband Brett, Josh L. Martin, Franklin Pierce Brown III and Grant Matthew Brown; and great-grandchildren, Hanna LeBlanc, Kirsten, Carleigh and Dylan Brown, Chayse and Wyatt Buriege, Conner Zimmerman and Lance Dragon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank P. Brown Sr.; father, Eugene Andre Sr.; and mother and stepfather, Lena Andre Ardoyne and Clement Ardoyne. Pallbearers will be Bud Torres, Edmund LeBlanc, David Buriege, Mark Andre, E.L. Gueho, Darrell Martin, Frank Pearce and Alton Brown. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. For more than 50 years, she was actively involved with the Iberville Parish Farm Bureau.
