
A retired McCrory's Department Store employee and a graduate of Baton Rouge High School, she died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Regency Place Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was 83, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Washington, D.C. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until the religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dale Phillips. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Blanchard, of Waynesville, Mo., and Rhonda Geter and husband Whitney, of Denham Springs: a son, Timothy Perault and wife Barbara, of Greenwell Springs; a sister, Marie Wood, of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Wendi Allee, Renee Cryer, Sherry La Jaunie, Whitney Geter IV, Timothy Perault II and Shana Thompson; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Blanchard Jr.; parents, Henry G. and Edna Norstum; and brother, Charles Norstum. Pallbearers will be Damon Cryer, James La Jaunie, Whitney Geter IV, Bradley Gauthier, Matthew Cryer and Andrew Chapman.
