Jessie Mae McFee, 87, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on January 19, 1934, in Montalbo, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Jackie had a heart for helping others, her generosity, selflessness, and nurturing spirit defined who she was. She always had a word of kindness and would give of herself without a second thought. She was the best hostess you could ever meet, and she always made it appear effortless. She was a magnificent cook, but of course she never thought her cooking was all that good. Her faith was at the center of all she did. She knew Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and served Him faithfully in her local church and as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and faithful friend. Those who knew her, loved her. She taught those around her the virtues of generosity, perseverance, dedication, kindness, understanding, and unconditional love. There will be a great void without her here on this earth.
