John H. "Jj" Borne, Jr.

"John H. Borne, Jr., known to everyone as "JJ", passed away on Friday, Sept 15, 2017 at 4:30pm at The Carpenter House. Born April 3, 1973 in Baton Rouge and current resident of City of Central. He attended Broadmoor Elementary, Sherwood Middle, and a graduate of Broadmoor High in 1991. JJ stayed in close contact with many of his classmates throughout all the years. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, hunting and being around his family and friends. He was a Co-Owner of J.Borne Plumbing, Inc. with his father, John H. Borne, Sr. "Johnny". He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tracey Lynn Borne; sons, Brennan Joseph Borne and Bryson James Borne; and mother, Gayle F. Borne. He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Nancy Borne Lato, Nannette Borne, Judy Borne Davidson (Godmother), William "Rusty" Borne, and Leonce "Ouncy" Borne, Jr., Sherryl F. Nye and David M. Forbes along with special loved ones: Tommy Davidson, Jr., Devon McMillan Foster, Tina Baird Kaufman, Destinee Renel' White, and Heather Frances Bourque. JJ was preceded in death by his father, John H. Borne, Sr. "Johnny"; brother, Jeremy Heath Borne; Grandparents: Leonce C. Borne, Sr., Belle Humphreys Borne, Bobbye J. Kimbrough and Harold B. Forbes. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge, on Thursday evening, September 21, 2017, from 5pm until service at 7:30pm.
