"John Raymond Hanson passed away on January 5, 2018, at the age of 81 years. A resident of Baker, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ruth Elizabeth Hanson, his parents Lois and Hattie Mae Hanson, and sisters Leatrice Genola and Wanda Jean Whitehead. John is survived by his children Cheryl Bush (Robert), Randall Hanson (Sylvia), and Sharon Depoy (Marvin); sister Dianne Hanson; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; and companion Loretta Brashear. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 10AM until 1PM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, La. Funeral service in the chapel at 1PM. Interment, Greenoaks Memorial Park.
