John Wayne Ivy, 68, a native of Crosby and resident of Albany, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. John retired from LaRoche Chemical and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Jan. 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from noon until funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Mr. Ivy is survived by his wife, Carolyn Babin Ivy; a son, Wayne Ivy; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Greg Vice; three grandchildren, Dylan Ivy, Brittni Ivy, and Austin Brocato; a sister, Carolyn Ann McGraw; and brother, Larry Ivy. Preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Maxine Ivy; and a sister, Linda Slaton.
