John Terry Mandeville, age 78, passed away August 16, 2024. He was born September 30, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana and was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. John graduated from Reitz High School and attended Evansville University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had a very successful career in sales. John sold many products for companies like Levi-Strauss, WLCS/WQXY radio, WVLA TV, and Westside Journal Newspaper, during his sales career and was even a general manager for KMDL radio in Kaplan. He ended his career as a marketing consultant for the Louisiana and Mississippi School Board Associations. He always enjoyed coaching the sports teams of his children.
John is survived by his wife of 42 years Elizabeth (Betty) Mandeville, daughter Sarah Mandeville Geismar, son John Mandeville IV, and grandson Ronan Elias Geismar, all of Baton Rouge, LA. The children and his grandson were his pride and joy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
John is preceded in death by father John Mandeville, Sr., mother Mary Taylor Mandeville, his sister Anne Whittinghill and her husband Don Whittinghill.
