
Ducote, Joseph MichaelA loving son and brother, and a wonderful friend to many, Joseph passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015 at the age of 28. A native and resident of Brusly, he was employed by Zee Zee Gardens and Rad Cycles. Joseph was a 2005 graduate of Brusly High School and was attending Southeastern Louisiana University, due to graduate in December 2015. Joseph is survived by his parents, David and Karla Gautreau Ducote; sisters, Jenifer Ducote LeBourgeois Tingle and husband Dustin, and Janene Ducote Hebert and husband Drew; brother, Jordan Ducote and girlfriend Emily Roger; grandfather, Murphy Gautreau, Sr.; three adoring nephews, (his Godson) Brody LeBourgeois, Hunter and Jacob Tingle; aunts and uncles, Yvonne and Melvin Wyble, Rosemary and Carwyn Rachal, Carl and Kathryn Ducote, Kathy and Johnny Robinson, Karen and Tony Polito, and Packy and Adair Gautreau; numerous cousins and extended family members; many wonderful, close friends and co-workers he considered as family; and his beloved cat, Toonces. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Patrick Ducote; and his grandparents, Jeanette Savoy Gautreau, and Anthony and Sadie Ducote. His closest friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St, on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5 pm until 9 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm. Visitation resumes at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly, on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am celebrated by Rev. Matt Lorraine and Deacon Sammy Collura. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. John the Baptist Building Fund, 402 S Kirkland Dr, Brusly, LA 70719 or a charity of your choice. A beautiful and loving soul that gave so much joy and happiness to the Universe for 28 years now smiles in Heaven. Rest in peace, son. We love you Joe and will miss you terribly.
