Joseph Romeo

Joseph Romeo Jr. died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home. Survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Rumsey Albarado Jr., Sharon and Rick Frazier, and Geralyn and Paul Stockstill; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Diane Romeo, Kevin and Cyn. D. Reynaud-Romeo and Darrin and Diane Romeo; eight grandchildren, Micah and Brandon Romeo, Angelle and spouse Brian Ducote, Joseph and Colleen Frazier and T-Paul and Shawn Stockstill, and Sydney Romeo; a sister, Virginia and spouse Leo Klein. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 63 years, Emily; three sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers will be David Woody Woodrow, Brian Ducote, Micah Romeo, Brandon Romeo, T-Paul Stockstill, Shawn Stockstill, Joseph Frazier and Paul Stockstill. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Arbour, Joe Amorello, Mark Byrd, Nick Dimaio, Rumsey Albarado and Rick Frazier. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., was on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Monday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family wishes to express special thanks to the nursing staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, his physicians, Dr. David Carmouche and Dr. Todd Cooley, and the staffs of Sherwood Village and Flannery Oaks.
