Judith Marie Rushing

A retired registered nurse and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, July 21, 2007. She was 81 and a native of New Roads. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Monday, July 23, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mike Moroney, celebrant. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Al Delaney and Jeanette and Charles Milne; three sons and daughters-in-law, E. Mark and Sharon Rushing, Timothy and Nadine Rushing, and Steven and Lois Kuyper-Rushing; 12 grandchildren, Scott and Todd Delaney, Andrea Crawford, Carl, Edward and Kenny Rushing, Paul Rushing, Charles and Brian Milne, Jennifer Faber and Anthony and Johanna Rushing; three great-grandchildren, Sean Delaney, Zachary Crawford and Aidan Milne; and sister, Rose Mary Babin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Zach Rushing; parents, Emile and Beatrice Carmouche; and brother-in-law, Joseph M. Babin. Pallbearers will be Scott and Todd Delaney, Charles and Brian Milne, and Paul, Carl, Edward, Kenny and Anthony Rushing. She was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church.
