Judson Vaughan “Judd” Booth, 80, a native of Durham, NC and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011. Judd was a loving and patient husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a founding member of Broadmoor Baptist Church having served on numerous committees during his membership. He graduated with high honors in Industrial Engineering from NC State and received the National Defense Service Metal and Good Conduct Medal as Sr. Aircraft Mechanic in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Theda Nelson Booth; children: Liz B. Martiny and husband Eddie, Jan B. Knobloch and husband Harvey, and Greg V. Booth and wife Lisa; grandchildren: Katie, Steven, and Kevin Booth, Mitch Moise, Bailey and Brooke Martiny, and Cole and Chance Knobloch; and sister JoAnne Whitehead and husband Lyman. Visitation will be held at Broadmoor Baptist Church on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 4pm until a memorial service will be celebrated at 6pm. Dr. Terry Ellis will be presiding over the services.
