Julie Helouin Guerin, 57, a resident of Central, passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Glen Guerin; daughter, Shelly Guerin; son, Brent Guerin and his wife Jennifer; parents, Larry&Ann Helouin; sister, Cheri Clark&husband Jimmy; brother, Chris Helouin; and mother-in-law, Fredie Guerin. Julie was born in Baton Rouge on January 30, 1957. She was a cafeteria manager at St. Aloysius Catholic Church School for 19 years and served as a Business Office Supervisor for BRASS Surgery Center for 14 years after that. Julie loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation will resume Wednesday at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church from 9:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, conducted by the Rev. Donald Blanchard.
