Kathleen Elizabeth Stone Barnes, 66, passed away at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was a homemaker. A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was a St. Francisville resident. She is survived by her husband, James H. Barnes Sr.; son, James H. Barnes Jr. (Corie) of Clovis, Calif.; sister, Ann Stone Walsh of Baton Rouge; brother, John Robert Stone of Oakland, Calif.; two granddaughters, Ashley and Hailey; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Stone of Athens, Ga., and mother, Vyron Lorriane Bonnette Stone of St. Francisville.
