Kathryn “Kay” S. Alford a beloved mother, cherished friend, and gifted home cook, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 64. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA, born on March 7, 1962. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and connection that touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Kay is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Stanford (Jimmy) and Kelly Bowerman (Jerod); grandchildren, Breanna and Sophia Stanford, and Payton and Timothy Bowerman; great-grandchild, Daniel Parker; numerous cousins and many best friends. Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Sadie Shillington. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 12pm until the time of funeral services at 2pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park
