He passed away peacefully Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at his home in Baton Rouge. He was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Newellton, son of Tophus and Helen Bruning Driggers. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He is survived by a brother, Jerry Driggers, residing in California. His family relocated during his early childhood to New Orleans. Then he enlisted in the Air Force, after service overseas to our country, was employed by the state of Louisiana, upon his retirement to Accurate Delivery. He was a lifelong member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars and was generous in heart to all he met. He enjoyed his hobbies of sports consulting and an expert on neon lights. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2187 Beaumont, on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Kenneth R.
