A wonderful son and fine young man, Kyle was the absolute “sweet spot” in the life of his parents, Jeanie and Don, Sr. He was a terrific brother to Don Jr., brother-in-law to Elizabeth, an uncle to Connor, and he treasured the friendship with long-time family friend Paul Lasserre.
He graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge and attended BRCC. Kyle was a dedicated, hard worker, and a sponsor for many young men. He will be remembered as a great friend to all who knew him.
Kyle’s tenacity always made his mom and dad proud. He had a pleasant smile, a funny wit, and insightful mind. He enjoyed bird hunts, fishing trips, camping, crawfish boils, life on the river and LSU baseball games.
His infectious smile and good heart will be forever cherished. His mom and dad very much appreciate the sentiments and personal stories from so many great friends and family members. Thank you all!
Kyle is survived by his parents, Jeanie Cassano and Don Cassano, Sr, brother Don (Elizabeth), nephew Connor, Uncles Bobby (Mary Kay) and Gerald (Teri) Cassano, Mike (Ethel) and Steve Luckett, Aunts Carol and Denise Cassano, Phyllis Blackburn, and Marilyn (Eddie) Lejeune, and many cousins.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Don Jr., Connor, Bobby and Gerald Cassano, and Mike and Corey Luckett.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park on 9595 Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm with a memorial and graveside service to follow.
