First, I want to offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends.  Second, I definitely want to thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to meet and work with Kyle.  Kyle gave me an opportunity when I was in a bad spot.  My situation and diet greatly improved thanks to Kyle's help.  He afforded me the opportunity to go for the job I'm getting now.  I was planning to tell him how much I appreciated everything he did for me.  The job meant a lot to me and I stuck with it longer than I intended because of him.  I wish I could have told him that in person.  

Kyle, you are a good man and it is an honor to have known you.  I'm sorry to see you go.  Rest in Peace, Brother.  

Kyle, it’s taken me a while to finally accept that you are truly gone.  I remember when Michelle gave me the news, I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe you’re actually gone. I remember the day before I got the news, you had called me three times and I missed all three. I didn’t answer because I thought it was to talk about work. I thought “I’ll call him back when I start to feel better and can think about work.” I never thought that would’ve been the last time we spoke. You were my closest friend and greatest mentor at Rouses. We spoke every day about work and life. You taught me everything I know now and helped me grow to eventually be able to run my own department. It’s going to be so hard not to be able to call you when I have a question about something or when I need to vent to someone when my job gets tough. I am so grateful for the time we did have. I just wish I wasn’t cut so short. You will be greatly missed.

I want to thank all of you who have texted, called and came to my job to check on me. I appreciate all the love and kindness. It was good to see you today Denise. 
To my  Rouses Family at store 58. I know you guys are grieving as much as I am. He was definitely a brilliant light. He was always involved in everything.. I’d say come on Drama King.. let’s go.. no matter what happened we always ended up laughing about it. I heard he finally stopped wearing the white shoes.. I always gave him grief over them. I told him he looked like a nerdy college kid. I hope he knows how much we all cared about him.  I’ll be by this week to check on his crew and our friends. See you soon ❤️

It’s Saturday.. you were supposed to call me today.. I kept waiting for my phone to ring…and as with every call..he’d start with “ dude” 🤣🤣 🙄 he always made me laugh about something. We talked a lot of serious stuff, work stuff, he’d get girlfriend advice…and  I’m glad I could be his friend. He knew he could call me or text me anytime. I talked to him twice on Wednesday.. Friday morning even after the call came, I still tried to call him. It’s wrong. This isn’t right.

My heart is saddened to hear of Kyle’s passing. His heart was kind and tender and his smile was sweet and genuine. No more pain and no more struggle. Praying for those he left behind. 

Jeanie, I am so sorry to hear about Kyle’s passing. You and Don are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. 

Kyle, forgiving you for leaving too soon is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I’ll forever cherish the short amount of time we had together. Meeting you, being able to call you my best friend, and laughing with you will forever be one of my greatest blessings. To see the great amount of people who loved and cared for you and all of the lives you’ve touched in such a short amount of time is an amazing feeling. This world will never be the same without you. Though it hurts that nothing can bring you back, I find comfort knowing you have found peace, you are safe from this world, not worrying about a thing, in God’s arms. I pray to Jesus to wrap his arms around and strengthen the broken-hearted as we mourn and grieve you Kyle. Nothing can take away the good you have brought into our lives.

Kyle - I never would have thought I would be saying goodbye in this way to you. You were a friend and a person that I truly respected as we were working together at Rouses. 
Though I only knew you a short time, in was thru the furlough from my work that gave me the chance to work with you. I enjoyed the work and the  atmosphere that you brought when we working together in the fresh cut fruit prep area.
My goodness- I remember just recently calling you up and asking you if you had any extra broccoli because we were out at my restaurant. You were out too but at least you tried to get us some from another location. 
Kyle I cannot believe you beat me home and may the Lord receive you with open arms and give you peace and rest. 
You are truly missed here, till we meet up again-
Keep the aisles clean and clear, no need to rotate anything because nothing goes rotten and above all- make sure my name is on the schedule there and tell my mom I miss and love her when you see her. Your friend and co-worker, Gary

As I mourn the loss of you, Bootie, I can only focus  on all the beautiful things about you. You were so kind, patient and gentle. I will never forget all the wonderful times I shared with you as a boy so full of love and life. Kyle, the years have passed and we haven’t seen each other but I feel as if I have always known your ❤️.    You had the kindest, most gentle heart and soul even as a young boy.  There are great memories of the camp and all of us telling ghost stories.  I would offer you a million dollars (well after dark) to swim out to the middle of False River and back.  You would tell me, “no way!”   I have pictures of you as a young boy holding my now adult daughters.  I have many pictures of you Kyle.  I’m thankful for that.

Distance may have separated us but you have always been loved.  Our earth has truly lost a good, young man.  Our God has called you home and now you are rejoicing in Heaven.  You can rest and be at peace.  God bless you Kyle.  🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My angel, Kyle. My best friend and the love of my life. The impact you left on my daughter and I’s life was extraordinary. You guided me through some of the toughest times in life. You helped me raise my daughter. You taught her how to be gentle with our cat, Chi. You taught her how to swim, put training wheels on her first bike and were so patient while we taught her how to ride it. You helped me make so many beautiful memories with her, because that was the kind of man you were. She was stubborn, just like me, and you never turned away because of it. 
You were the type to give anyone the shirt off of your back. I admired your kindness, generosity, and drive to always do better than the day before. I’d never met a man as great as you. Any time I needed you, you were there to hold my hand. The world has been a quieter place without you in it, somehow just not as bright. Adelaide and I will carry you with us always. There will not be a day we won’t think of you. Your parents raised such a good hearted man and I will be forever grateful God brought me, you. I know God will take great care of you up there. 
Just a few days ago we prayed together and he answered our prayers in a way that has devastated your family and I. I don’t understand it. But I know you’re at peace and I’m thankful for that. I will love you, always. 

Dearest Kyle. You were loved beyond understanding. I know you see that now. Your Mama and Daddy did the best they could for you.  I believe we will all be together one day and rejoice in the kingdom of God.  Angels of God receive his soul and present him to God, God most high.
