Larry George Peltier

Peltier Sr., Larry GeorgeLarry G.Peltier, Sr., 82, life- long native of Sunshine died Monday, May 4th at Baton Rouge General Hospital.  He was born to George C. Peltier and Myrle Hoffman Peltier,  February 5,1933.  He served in the U.S. Navy.  He retired from the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital.  He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Frances Ann Panepinto Peltier: Children: Charlene Haydel (Kimm), Larry Peltier, Jr. (Laurie) and Michael Peltier.  Grandchildren; Kyle Haydel (Leighane), Cody Haydel (Krystal), Clint Haydel (Chelsea), Ryan Peltier(Doris), and Landa Aillet (Spencer).  Great Granchildren;  Kennedy,  Addison, and Zoey Haydel and Mark and Nick Peltier.  He is also survived by two sister, Joan Ann "Gank" Hubbs (Jimmy) and Georgia Ramirez (Don) and brother in law Frank Panepinto (Trudy). Survivors also include numberous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and  sister Betty Sue Peltier.  He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, and devoted Caregiver,   father and grandfather.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church at 9:00 AM until mass of Christian burial at 11:30 AM,   celebrated by Father Charles Landry.  Entombment at St. Gabriel Catholic Church Mausoleum.  Pallbearers will be grandsons, Sgt. Ryan Peltier, Kyle, Cody, and Clint Haydel, Spencer Aillet and god child, Joey Panepinto.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Kimm Haydel, Ory Gueho, and Frank Panepinto.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
