Laura Albritton EllisLaura Albritton Ellis, 68, of Baton Rouge passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015. Laura was a retired Respiratory Therapist but her true passion was her loving care of animals especially the Welsh Corgis that she bred and raised. She is preceded in death by her father, John Isaac Albritton; grandmother, Elaine Baum Phelan; and mother, Patricia Phelan LeBlanc. She is survived by her husband Pat Ellis; two sons, Abbott William Metz and wife Kelly, Kevin Lewis Metz and wife Tonya; two sisters, Bobbye Albritton Beckerman and Johnette Albritton Smith; as well as 7 grandchildren, a niece, nephew, many cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed but will remain close to our hearts for years to come. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 14th at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Baton Rouge, LA beginning with a visitation at 11:00am with a service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
