A homemaker, she died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at her home in Port Allen. She was 91. Visiting at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Allen, on Saturday, May 8, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Allen. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Cheryl A. Meyer, Port Allen; sister, Kathleen Bourgoyne Traigle, Plaquemine; half-sister, Ethel Bourgoyne and husband Mickey, Plaquemine; brother, Paul Bouy Sr., Plaquemine; and half-brother, Charles Bouy and wife Irene, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Meyer; son, Donald Joseph Meyer; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Bouy Sr.; brother, John Bouy; sister, Mary Bouy Greaud; brother-in-law, Leland Greaud; and sister-in-law, Helen Cazes Bouy. Many thanks to special friends and neighbors.
