

Leo F. Innerarity Sr., 83, passed away at 9:30a.m. Sunday, June 15, 2014, in Baton Rouge. He was native of Slidell and a long time resident of Baton Rouge. His parents were the late Leo&Rosie Innerarity. Leo was a ship dock supervisor who retired from the Port of Baton Rouge and a loving husband to his late wife of 60 wonderful years of marriage, Maxine Berry Innerarity. Leo's favorite scripture was Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He is survived by a daughter&son-in-law, Marlene&Donn Bourque; son&daughter-in-law, Leo Frank Jr.&Cindy Innerarity; 4 granddaughters&spouses, Heather&Chaz Hernandez, Malinda&Jamie Wendt, Crystal&Frank Abadie, and Amber&Kyle Watson; and 8 great-grandchildren, Chase, Briana, Devin, the future Jaiden Max, Christian, Hannah, Kayleigh, Emma,&Cameron. Leo is also survived by 3 brothers, Harold, George,&John Wayne Innerarity. He was preceded in death by a brother, Boyce Innerarity, and sister, Shirley Peek. Visitation at will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, June 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 18, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., conducted by Pastor Garland Mizell of Bethany World Prayer Center. Burial services at Greenoaks Memorial Park directly following. Pallbearers will be Frank Abadie, Jamie Wendt, Kyle Watson, Keith Wayne Peek, Gilbert Johnson and Charlie Cain. 2 Timothy 4:7 says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
