Lexie Bryant Harville

A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, she died Thursday, July 30, 2009. She was 97, a native of Jonesboro-Hodge, and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Cherishing her memory are two sons and daughters-in-law, Mearl E. and Eddis Harville, of Central, David Harville, of Houston, and Barbara Harville, of Brenham, Texas; a sister, Julia Jordan Stanford, of Jonesboro; two sisters-in-law, Evie Bryant, of Jonesboro, and Noreen Bryant, of Escatawpa, Miss.: grandchildren, Randall Harville, Cindi Harville Pittman, Michael Harville, Alida Harville, Annette Harville Lindquist and Cassandra Benedetto Allain; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mearl P. Harville; parents, Lev P. and Otha Watts Bryant; daughter, Mearline Harville Benedetto; brothers, Louie and Perriel Bryant; and sister, Jeanette Reed. The family would like to thank all the staff of St. Clare Manor, where she had resided for the last three years, for their kind and compassionate care.
