

"Sue Bello, born in Wisner, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge died Friday January 18, 2019 in her home following a lengthy illness. Born September 18, 1942, Sue was the loving wife of the late James M. "Jimmy" Bello, Jr. She was the daughter of Kitty Marbury and the late Edward DeLoach. Sue was a graduate of Istrouma High School. In 1962, she married Jimmy, her high school sweetheart. They were together and in love until his death in 2006. Sue devoted her life to nurturing her loving family, enjoying her precious granddaughters, and playing with her house full of pets. She and Jimmy were the owners of Omega Industrial Suppliers in Port Allen, which was sold in 2013. They were devoted Catholics and parishioners of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church. Sue is survived by her son, James "Jim" Bello and wife Christina of Chattanooga; daughter, Sherry Ann Bello Roper and husband Chad of Baton Rouge and their daughters Micah and Ryan; her mother Kitty Marbury of Baton Rouge; her sister Ann Watts and husband Mitch of Baton Rouge; and Ann's daughter Adria DeLaune of Nashville. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 5-7p.m. and Wednesday morning at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S. Harrell's Ferry Rd from 9-11a.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Vianney immediately following at 11am, with celebrant, Father Tom Ranzino.
