Lindy Joseph Munson, a native of Addis and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at the age of 86. Lindy was a retired butcher. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 11am until funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Gardens of Memory. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Keary Lundgren, a brother, Jack Munson, three grandchildren, Rebecca Carroll, and Christy and Michael McConnell; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Joseph Hall and Gabriella Barker, eight nieces, Belle Gascon, Kathy Ringe, Deanna Landry, Tammy Seals, Christi Palermo, Cindy Conti, Denise Landry, Toni Bricarell and two nephews, James and Rick Borskey along with numerous other family and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Irene Munson, parents, Ryan and Isabelle Munson, a sister, Myrtle Borskey, two brothers, James and Richard Munson a niece, Patricia Small and nephew Jackie Munson. Donation may be made to the American Heart Association. Lindy never met a stranger, was precious to his family and friends and loved by all who knew him.
