Lonnie Stephen Pocorello

Lonnie Stephen Pocorello was born on July 28, 1960 to Joseph and Alice Pocorello. He went home to be with Jesus on February 16, 2024. He graduated from Pride High School in 1978. Lonnie was a devoted husband, dedicated father and a loving son. He worked at multiple plants throughout his career as an Instrument Technician. In recent years, he was self-employed as a licensed electrician specializing in generator maintenance and sales. He will be remembered as a devoted follower of Jesus and being an avid outdoorsman with his love of fishing and hunting. Nothing was more important to him than his loving wife of 39 years and their three daughters. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and dedicated his life to providing and protecting his family and helping others. He is survived by his wife, Tara Turner Pocorello; daughters, Jessica Yost (Hank), Jada Barrett (Barry) and Jena Pocorello (Dustin Wonnacott); grandchildren, Brock, Bella, and Brody Barrett, Blakely Jo Pocorello, Makenzie and Madison Yost and Gracie Rydeen. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge LA, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 10:00am until service time of 1:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
