Lorene V. Brook, age 89, a native of Electric Mills, Mississippi and a long time of resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Belmont W. Brook; 2 sons, Larry G. Brook, Jerry W. Brook and his wife, Dineen; 1 daughter, Lisa G. Mullen and her husband, Eddie; 5 grandchildren, Shawn and Ronnie Mullen, Michael Brook, Nicole Niel, and Jeremy Willis; and one great-grandson, Colton Niel. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cherry Kania. Pallbearers will be Larry Brook, Jerry Brook, Eddie Mullen, Ronnie Mullen, Shawn Mullen, and Dave Willis. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Brook. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories.
