
A claims administrator with Community Coffee Co. LLC and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 56 and a native of Miami. Visitation at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, on Friday, July 13, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Bass. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Denise Murphy of Baton Rouge; son, Christopher Wade Murphy of Denham Springs; father, Anthony DeCristofaro of Baton Rouge; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Melinda Florence and Christopher Edward Parrino of Davie, Fla., and Antoinette "Toni" Barile Lamas of Hollywood, Fla.; niece, Jesenia Eileen and husband Andy Ysalgue and their family; and two nephews, Axel Lopez Jr. and Damion Lopez. Preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Marie Walsh Barile; infant son, Anthony Edmond Murphy; and her lifelong friend and the father of her children, Frank Wade Murphy. She was a paralegal, a former member of St. George Catholic Church, a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, Baton Rouge Chapter, and a certified professional secretary. Pallbearers will be Brent Charlet, James Peck, Justin Peck, Brian Wright, West Rivett and Christopher Parrino. Lori was the most wonderful woman, full of joy and kindness as well as a devoted mother, daughter and friend. She is deeply loved and missed and will always live in our hearts. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. George Catholic Church. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East is in charge of arrangements.
