

Lucille Dee Goudeau Smith “Nannie” was called to live eternally in the home of her heavenly Father on November 6, 2016 in the presence of her family. Born May 19, 1943, she was a housewife who lived for her family, friends and loved ones. She received her GED after many years of marriage. Lucille enjoyed listening to music, traveling and the beach. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years of marriage, Louis Pollard Smith, Sr. mother and father, M.D. and Lou Goudeau, and sister, Deanna Lou Goudeau. She leaves behind to forever cherish her love and memory, her sister Janice Lynn Ardoin and husband Joseph “T-Boy” Ardoin; children Louis Pollard Smith, Jr. and wife Trisha, son Merle Gene Smith and daughter Tamah Viola and husband Lenny Viola; grandchildren Raven Lee Smith, Andrea Deann Smith, Amber Nicole Smith, Ashley “Brook” Smith, Logan Pollard Smith, Jordan Danae Porter, Sebastian Oliver Graves and Sidney Cate Smith, Nicole D. Viola, Vincent J. Viola and Kerri A. Viola; great-grandchildren Bryce S. Graves, Brailynn A. Graves, Lucas D. Stout, Logan “Jackson” Bennett, Jayden Lee Smith, Gavin Louis Smith, Ethan Christopher Smith, Presley Jade Raborn, Wyatt Lee Wagley, Emma Nicole Peek, Andrew William Peek and Izen James Asher Bibbs. She also leaves behind love, friend and caregiver Anthony DeIorio and former daughter-in-laws Debra Miller, Julie Hudson Wampold and Angie Withers Gunter. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, November 8, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 9, from 9:00 a.m. until services at 10:00 a.m.
